Ric Shreves is a partner in Water & Stone, a web design firm which specializes in development of web sites with Open Source Content Management Systems. He writes on a variety of topics and maintains technology columns in the Bangkok Post and in ComputerWorld Hong Kong. He also maintains an Open Source blog known as the PostDB Open Source Project. His technology writing has also appeared in Linux Magazine, Enterprise Open Source Journal, CIO, Linux Insider, O'Reilly.com, Forbes.com, Hoovers, eCommerce Times and various other publications both on and off line.
Ric has been building websites since 1996 and over the course of the years, has worked on a number of significant CMS projects, including sites for BASF, Colgate-Palmolive, Tesco, FPDSavills, CBRichardEllis, Mercy Corps, the University of North Carolina, and many others. Ric is a member of CMPros and is a member of The Mambo Foundation where he leads the advocacy team and also works on the documentation of the project.
